We are pleased to offer a new ministry to parents in the Naperville area; respite time away from parenting while their child is cared for in a Christian learning environment for 4 1/2 hrs, one day per week. It's a popular option for families new to the area; often times experiencing their first big move and finding themselves miles away from the support of their extended family.
During this time, children participate in a planned 4 1/2 hours which includes, art, story time, large motor time in the “big room” or on the playground, music, devotion time, and a lite lunch which is often prepared individually by the children as part of their classroom routine. Parents register their child for one day per week, and that day is theirs from September through May. Children in these consistent groups, which are a blend of 2 and 3 year olds, develop friendships with staff and peers much the same way as the children in our Little Blessings Preschool Program.
