We are pleased to offer this ministry to parents in the Naperville area; respite time away from parenting while their child is cared for in a Christian learning environment for 4 1/2 hrs, one day per week. It's a popular option for families new to the area; often times experiencing their first big move and finding themselves miles away from the support of their extended family. Parent's Day Out is also a great way to introduce your two year old to time away from home. Children begin to learn simple routines and transitions.
During this time, children participate in a planned 4 1/2 hours which includes, art, story time, large motor time in the “big room” or on the playground, music, devotion time, and a light lunch. Parents may register their child for one or two days per week and that schedule is theirs from September through May. Children in these consistent groups, which are a blend of 2 and 3 year olds, develop friendships with staff and peers much the same way as the children in our Little Blessings Preschool Program.
