Little Blessings is pleased to offer our new Enrichment Programs beginning Fall 2005. These enrichment classes are available one day a week with seperate classes for preschool and kindergarten-aged children.

Art Works!
The Little Blessings Art Works! enrichment program is designed to develop and increase children's love for art and artistic expression through painting, sculpting, and drawing.  Children will develop a love of art by exploring a variety of mediums, as well as an appreciation and awareness of various artists from the past and present. Art Works! is held on Tuesday afternoon from 12:30-3:00 for preschool, and Thursday afternoon from 12:30-3:00 for kindergarten. 

Friday Book Club
This class is designed to increase children's love for literature and books while enriching their language arts skills and other subjects within the Illinois Department of Education Early Learning Standards. Morning sessions, from 9:00 am - 11:30 am, and afternoon sessions, from 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm.

Science & Math Enrichment Program
This class is designed to increase children's interest and knowledge of math and science building on what young children already know and are capable of doing. The curriculum will emphasize the child's role as an active learner, experimenter and problem solver. Preschoolers meet every Thursday afternoon from 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm and kindergarteners meet every Tuesday afternoon from 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm.

Spanish Enrichment Program
This class is designed to teach Spanish to children through the normal daily schedule of a preschool or kindergarten. In this immersion style program, the children will learn Spanish words and phrases used throughout their day. Preschoolers meet every Tuesday afternoon from 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm and kindergarteners meet every Thursday afternoon from 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm.
