Little Blessings Enrichment Explorers offers parents more choices and children more opportunities for learning. Putting together enrichment classes with a preschool or Kindergarten class provides a full day option (9am – 3pm) for parents.

The following are our Preschool Enrichment Offerings.
(For Kindergarten Enrichment options, see the "Kindergarten" tab.)

Art Works! - (Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday afternoons)
The Little Blessings Art Works! enrichment program is designed to develop and increase children's love for art and artistic expression through a variety of mediums.  Children will be introduced to various artists past and present.

Book Club - (Monday afternoon or Friday morning or afternoon.)
This class is designed to increase children's love for literature and books while enriching their language arts skills and other subjects within the Illinois Department of Education Early Learning Standards. Each month the class focuses on a specific author and their writing style.  Children will make literary predictions and learn new vocabulary words while developing reading, writing, and oral expression skills.

Health and Fitness - (Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday afternoon)
This class is an organized movement class that helps children build motor skills, learn about physical fitness, and instills a love of movement that your child will use throughout their life.  Health and Fitness follows the Starting Healthy Curriculum.

Spanish Explorers - (Monday or Wednesday afternoon)
Spanish Explorers follows the Sonrisas Early Childhood Curriculum to help foster a positive Spanish language experience for your child.  This fun class fosters openness to the sounds, songs, culture and the people who use the Spanish language.

Science & Math Wizards - (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoon)
This class is designed to increase children's interest and knowledge of math and science building on what young children already know and are capable of doing.
Children develop problem solving skills and pre-math skills such as patterning, predicting, comparing, classifying and gathering data.
